Recording artists Tenor Australis have already earned their place in music history as being one of the most exciting and uniquely Australian acts for many years!
When tenors Gerald Sword, Stuart Neilson-Kemp and Jonathon Welch decided to form Tenor Australis, over 9 years ago, they found they had something very special and so....a musical journey began.... It is the combination of the 'boys'' talents, with a repertoire that includes famous popular arias and songs in the great tenor tradition, through to hauntingly beautiful songs from our Australian musical heritage and fresh new original Australian works, that make our very own Tenor Australis truly unique.
The simple philosophy of the group is to perform the great Australian and International repertoire wherever people can gather to hear them. "It could be a concert hall, woolshed or the back of a truck in the outback" say the group. "The magic of 'Click go the Shears' or 'Nessun Dorma' is still the same.
From the eloquent beauty of their harmonies, to the power of the magnificent anthems they perform; Gerald, Stuart and Jonathon unite to become the musical force that is TENOR AUSTRALIS.
